Earth Day videos & Rubric
Yesterday, we had to grade 2 videos from the Earth Day Project. I graded and Alex's 7th grade and 12th grade. They were both very interesting, they had good music and they had interesting and cool images. Although most of the pictures they got them from the internet, I really think they did a great job! I honestly liked more the 12 grade one, because it had more details the rubric was asking. Like the music. Now that I fully saw the rubric I would have change many things. Small details, first I would have change my song. I would had recite a poem, it would have been more easy. Also, our tone voice, wasn't very clear that's why we are probably having some trouble in our grade. The Earth Video Projects were a total success.

Enviromental Issues
The most serious environmental issue that the world is facing right now, is rain forest destruction. Now in days, people are destroying many beautiful and important forests all over the world. Our rainforests are being destroying for many particular reasons, but the most is because of industries. One and one-half acres of rainforest are lost every second with tragic consequences for both developing and industrial countries. Industries like We are losing Earth's greatest biological treasures just as we are beginning to appreciate their true value. Rainforests once covered 14% of the earth's land surface; now they cover a mere 6% and experts estimate that the last remaining rainforests could be consumed in less than 40 years. Rainforests are being destroyed because the value of rainforest land is perceived as only the value of its timber by short-sighted governments, multi-national logging companies, and land owners. Nearly half of the world's species of plants, animals and microorganisms will be destroyed or severely threatened over the next quarter century due to rainforest deforestation. We seriously need to take care of all of our forests. We need to be more considerate. We should recycle, reuse and reduce. There's people, that waste a lot of paper without thinking that all of those papers are dead trees. The beauty, majesty, and timelessness of the rainforests are indescribable. It is impossible to describe in words, or to explain to those who have never had the awe-inspiring experience of standing in the heart of a rainforest. But we really need to do something, to stop this big issue. If I could do something to help this issue, I would do many groups, to stop this. I would do recycle, and reuse the same papers. I would really try this to work. Remember this is not impossible, be the change you want to see in the world -Ghandi.

Earth Day Video
For Computer Class we had to make a video about Earth Day, which was one of the most interesting and fun projects I've ever done! My partner is Ximena. We planned everything with a lot of anticipation and our project went great! We thought about many different songs, like World Hold On, Love Generation but the one that we finally chose was Send It On-Disney Channel. It is a song, that talks about the change we want to see in the world. It talks about Be the change you want to see in the world. It is a very emotive song, it talks about all the beautiful things that a different world can have. We recorded with our voices, although we aren't great singers we tried our best and it sounded OK. We made the video at El Tigre. We painted our faces with a heart that symbolized love in the world and we made a peace sign that symbolizes that we want peace and freedom in our world. We took many pictures about nature and we put them in the video. We took pictures about animals, and plants. They are very beautiful. I don't think our project is going to win, because its not that original, but the good thing is that is symbolizes mother nature, and the change people want in the world.

Spring Break
My Spring Break, was great! It was probably one of the best I've ever had.
I did many things. Every day I was very active and occupied. I had friends that came from Guadalajara and Mexico City, and Tepic. The first week of Spring break I went to the Beach, to El ETC. in Nuevo Vallarta. I was there were my friends hanging out, and having lots of fun! I stayed there from 12 to like 6 O clock.
I got a very cool tan. Then I got back from the beach, and I went to my house, to get a shower and go to work to my dad's restaurant. Jaja I know what are you guys thinking.. uh yeah that's very fun.. well it is! I have a lot of fun working at the restaurant and meeting new people. The next day, I just went to my friends house and hang out with them. We went to the movies, to the beach, and on the nights I went to night clubs with my sister. We had a lot of fun. My sister Alejandra was here, she came from Guadalajara because shes studying at college right now, so I was very glad to see her here in Puerto Vallarta. We gossip and talk everyday and it was very fun.
On the next week, she went back to school, because in her university she only gets one week off. I missed her, that week because when she was here we spent the hole day in the beach, or in the movies etc. But I was glad that she came back that weekend because on the weekend we had a wedding. That week wasn't very interesting I just spent time with my family. I played with my little sister, and I hang out with my cousins and worked at my dad's restaurant. The only good thing of that weekend was that there were no more tourists, because the week before literally was CROWDED. If I look back to the week before, Vallarta was crowded seriously I'm not kidding.
The week of Easter I didn't get to see my friends from school, which I didnn't like much. That was probably one of the bad things of my break. Then when the weekend approach, my sister came back from Guadalajara. We had a wedding here in Puerto Vallarta. It was at the Westin Regina, and the party was ESPECTACULAR. It was the most amazing party i've ever gone. I had so much fun, I danced a lot with some friends and my family. There I met some new people, and that made my break to be wonderful. The next day it was Sunday, and I had to get ready because on Monday I was comming to School. My Spring Break, was one of the bests I've ever had, no doubt.
